complex server controls like DataGrid, Repeater etx can contain other controls which repeats with same ID (if you have added a textbox to grid and provided with some ID then it will be repeated for each row and all textboxes will have same ID and will get differentiate with different ClientID).
Now problem is to trap events associate with them, here comes the concept of bubble events all child controls won't fire independent event but they will fire bubble events and against that bubble event the container control event will fire a common event.
For example you can't trap click event of a repeating button in datagrid but you can trap its click in ItemCommand event of datagrid against the commandName property of button and ItemIndex of event object.
